As the augmented reality game begins, players are brought upon an empty virtual world except for EcoVille, a city that the players are tasked to govern, improve & sustain.

Players can explore the animated world or begin playing the game by adding ‘Climate action’ assets via the use of EduBlocks on the gaming board. There are 27 different kinds of EduBlocks, belonging to six categories: Housing, Transportation, Agriculture, Power Production, Industrial Production And Waste Treatment. Each block will make an impact in EcoVille’s future when activated.

EduBlocks are interacted with by scanning their VuMark ID tags with the master device camera. Before assets are committed, an asset selection view is shown. In the view, the asset choice is confirmed by tapping Select or cancelled by tapping Back.
